I’ve always identified as an athlete. For years, running and cardio were my entire identity. But when I hit my mid-40s, the routine I’d relied on for decades simply stopped working. Hormones shifted, energy disappeared, and my body needed something different.
That’s when I discovered strength training, nutrition strategy, and the power of building instead of shrinking — and it changed everything.
I specialize in helping women in midlife rediscover their strength, rebuild their confidence, and train in a way that actually supports their changing bodies.
To fully understand the transformation process I’d be guiding my clients through, I competed in the FMG Mexico physique competition — not for a trophy, but to walk the same path and coach from real experience.

I ran competitively in college and carried that identity with me for decades. Fitness was never something I had to think about — until it was.

I dove into the science of training and nutrition for women in midlife — progressive overload, macro-based fueling, and recovery strategies designed for changing hormones. The results were undeniable.
I realized this wasn’t just my story — it was the story of nearly every woman I knew over 35. I became certified and built EmpowHER Fitness to give women the roadmap I had to figure out on my own.
